ad sound tube is our result of the project week with famous media artist Yunchul Kim.

The sound tube is controlled interactive by positioning a magnet within a spool inside the tube which then plays sounds. The soundfiles can be skipped by tabbing the wire on top.

The sounds the user can browse through are extracts of famous german tv-ads. The intention of that project was to give an answer to nearly ubiquitous and loud ads all around us in daily life.

We used the MAX/MSP software in combination with the ARDUINO board hardware.
