The idea of my photo gallery was to have an easy manageable gallery with picture description in which users can browse back and forth.

Once the user comes to the website a certain folder on the webserver is scanned for all pictures and another is scanned for the descriptions. If there are new pictures in the image folder a new .txt description file gets created.

The advantage is, you don't have to get deep into HTML/CSS files everytime you want to show something new, you just upload your things and maybe edit the .txt file for a short description.
