With VisualBraille we wanted to design an interface between the braille font for blind people and a standard roman font. You can use it, e.g. on medicine packages or on the public transport timetables. Both blind and non-blind people can read it easily and you don't need to design an extra space for the braille.

I made this .ttf together with Theo Seemann and Christopher Heller. You can download and try the font for free @ http://nm.merz-akademie.de/[...]/visualbraille

VisualBraille is on the caps and normal braille is on the lower-case letters for special embossed printing.
